Number patterns are often either arithmetic, meaning there is a constant difference, d, that is added to get from one term to the next, or geometric, meaning there is a constant ratio, r, from one term to the next. On the other hand, we also see many number patterns that are neither arithmetic nor geometric. Here we practice looking at number patterns and identifying them as arithmetic, geometric, or neither.
