Evaluating a Logarithmic Expression in terms of Known Quantities - Problem 4
The properties of logs are often used to re-write unknown logs in terms of other logs that we do know. These often show up on multiple choice tests and you're asked to do them without a calculator. To start, re-write the input of the log in terms of the inputs that you're provided information about. Consider products and quotients of those inputs in particular, and don't forget that you can always integrate a factor of 10!
