When we are asked to multiply numbers in the real world, we usually don't use a calculator- rather, we estimate in our heads. Here we will practice estimation with numbers that have tenths place digits. The goal is not necessarily to get the "right," exact answer, but rather, to get close enough so we have an estimate. The level of precision you use depends on the situation in which you're doing the multiplication.
