When we need to find some numerical value in the real world, we can write an equation and use a variable, or letter, to represent the unknown quantity. Here we practice writing and solving one-step equations that model real life problems. We solve them using the idea that multiplying and dividing are opposite operations. Make sure you get in the habit of checking your final answer to make sure it is reasonable!
