One way to eliminate fractions in solving equations is to clear the denominator- you multiply all terms on both sides of the equation by the least common multiple, or common denominator of all of the fractions involved. Look for the smallest number that all of the denominators multiply in to, and multiply al of the terms by that value. Just be sure to multiply all terms on both sides of the equation by whatever you have chosen!
