The least common multiple, or LCM, of two values is the lowest number that they both multiply in to. One way to find the LCM is to list out the multiples of both numbers, and look for the first number that shows up in each list. This process is called enumeration. It is often helpful to list the multiples of the larger value first and think in your head whether the smaller value is a factor.
