When we are asked to list the factors of a given number, we want to list all of the numbers that it is divisible by. A systematic approach will help us list all factors- start by testing if one is a factor, then two, then three, etc. Write factor pairs as you find them. Stop when you reach a number that you have already determined is a factor.
