A triangle with all three sides congruent and all three angles congruent is called equilateral, if two sides are congruent and two angles congruent it is called isosceles, and if all three sides and all three angles are different, it is called scalene. A regular polygon has all sides and all angles congruent. To name a polygon, we have to list the vertices in order, using capital letters. We can use these ideas to name and classify polygons.
