One of the most useful ways we use ratios is to convert between units, like ounces to pounds, miles per hour to feet per min, etc. Starting from your given number with units written as a fraction, use equivalencies to create new fractions where the units on top and bottom of fractions will cancel out. Be extremely precise with combining your words with numbers to make sure you have the right units on your answer in the end.
