If you know the rate at which you complete even part of a job, you can find out how long it would take you to complete the whole entire job. For example, here you have a fractional lawn area that needs to be mowed, and you know how long it takes you to mow part of an acre. Set up a division problem, and then leave the first fraction the same and multiply by the reciprocal of the second fraction.
