If you are asked to solve an equation that involves decimals, perhaps in cooking, you could turn all decimals into their fractional forms if you're good with fractions. If you choose to leave it with decimals, which is fine, be extremely precise with the placement of your decimal point as you solve. Make sure your final answer makes sense, and don't forget to add units.
