If you are a strong grapher, or if you have access to graphing technology, you can solve equations by graphing each side of the equation separately and then finding the point(s) of intersection. Here we graph a line with a radical curve to find the point of intersection, and also look at an example of a line and radical that have no intersection (and hence, the equation has no real solution.)
