If you're allowed the use of a grapher, whether it be a graphing calculator or online program, you can solve quadratic equations by setting up a system of equations. Let your first function into your calculator be y = one side of your given equation, and let the second function be y = the other side of your quadratic function. From there, use the commands to find where the two graphs intersect. Here, we model the commands on a TI grapher to confirm what we do by hand.
