Recall that the zeros of a polynomial can be written in parentheses with x as factors of the polynomial. The multiplicity of a zero is how many times that factor occurs in the factored form- so here we look at multiplicities one and two (although it could be more.) We do not include the calculation of the leading coefficient, which you might need to do in more sophisticated problems. You can leave your polynomial in factored form, or multiply it into expanded standard form.
