An arithmetic mean is a term that has been omitted between other terms in a number list where there is a common difference, or d, that is added between terms. To find multiple arithmetic means, start by counting how many times d needs to be added to get from one of your given values to the next. You can use the two values and the number of "d's" to solve for d. Once you know d, add d starting from the lower given value until you reach your higher given value to find your missing means.
