Recall that a negative fraction changes whether the base is in the numerator or denominator of a fraction. If a negative exponent shows up inside a fraction as a term in a polynomial, you're going to be working with fractions within fractions. Your goal is to find common denominators to form monomials , and then multiply be the reciprocal of the bottom most fraction.
