One tool used throughout Algebra, Trigonometry, and Calculus is a graphing calculator. One thing using a graphing calculator is helpful for is solving systems of equations. We can solve systems of linear equations by using a graphing calculator and matrices. We can also solve systems of nonlinear equations by using a graphing calculator to graph their equations and find the intersection.
While Matrices are sort of complicated looking, what we can do with them is actually very similar to what we can do with regular numbers. We can add them we can subtract them they can multiply them by multiples, there is really a lot that we can do. Anything we could do with a normal number quote and quote we can actually do with a matrix.
