There are four operations that are allowed with matrices: switching the order of rows, multiplying a row by a scalar, adding/subtracting rows, or some combination of those operations. Here we track our changes by using arrows to show each matrix move, and labeling what is being done to each row. The goal is to get an augmented matrix to the identity matrix with the solution column on the far right.
