The x intercept of a graph is where the line crosses the x axis, and the y intercept is where the line crosses the y-axis. Sometimes there might be multiple intercepts on one axis, or maybe even no intercepts. When you label the intercepts, use an (x, y) coordinate pair. One of the coordinates will be zero for an intercept.
