Academics doesn’t just mean the types of classes that are offered at any given college. It also includes the size of classes, the availability of courses, the rigor of the curriculum, and many other things. Before you start applying to colleges and before you make your final decision as to which college you’ll attend, make sure you’ve done your research on the academics that they offer. Some schools have intimate settings where class is led by a professor where other schools set classes in big lecture halls where graduate students might lead discussion. Determine what kind of setting you would like best then find the colleges that offer that.
