The Academic History section is one of the most important sections on UC Application. This is where you’re going to report all the high school level classes that you’ve taken so far and the grades that you’ve gotten in each. Make sure that you have a copy of your transcripts available when you begin this section so that you can enter the correct information. High school level classes refers to any classes that you’ve taken, regardless of where you took them, that belong to the traditional high school curriculum. This may have been as early as middle school, and also includes classes that you may have taken at a community college or online. If you received a non-passing grade in one of your classes, but then retook it for a passing grade, make sure to enter both grades. Also, since you won’t have any grades for the classes that you’re taking during your senior year, you’ll have to enter the classes that are in progress and the classes that you plan to take. There’s a lot of important information that this section covers so once you’re done entering it all, make sure that you review it well by cross-checking it with your transcripts before moving on to the next section.
