The Activity section of the Common Application is where you list all the different extracurricular activities that you were involved with in high school. You can list up to 10 activities in your order of priority. If you ever want to rearrange the order of the activities, you don’t have to delete them and rewrite them, you can simply use the arrow tool to move them up or down the list. You only have about 150 character to explain each activity so instead of describing the activity itself, it’s best to explain the responsibilities you had for each one. This video also goes over how to calculate the hours that you may have invested in any given activity, which you’ll need to enter for each activity.
