Before going to a college interview, it’s a good idea to do some research on the college and practice answering common questions. This will help you feel less nervous and better prepared to answer any questions that the interviewer might have. It’s always important to arrive to an interview early and to dress in a way that’s appropriate for the place where you’re meeting. During the interview, make sure you make lots of eye contact, be polite, smile, and most importantly, be yourself. They want to know who you are, not who you think you should be. Make sure that you take your time in answering all the questions thoroughly, and if the interviewer asks you if you have any questions at the end, have some thoughtful questions to ask. After the interview, it’s important to write down all the things you learned about the college. Lastly, don’t forget to send a thank you note, either an email or an actual letter, especially if you get accepted into the college.
