In order to have a complete college application, there are a number of things that you’ll need to have. Transcripts for every class and each school that you attended are essential. Some schools will ask you to self-report your grades, but make sure they accurately reflect what’s on your transcripts because you’ll eventually have to send official ones in. Official standardized test scores are also something that every college requires. Just as with transcripts, make sure to accurately report the test scores that you received. Many schools will require a school report and many more will ask for letters of recommendation. Make sure to ask for these well in advance so that you have them ready when it’s time to start filling out your application. Some schools will also allow for optional letters of recommendation. Please use your best judgement when deciding to submit these. Last, but definitely not least, are the application fees. Your application won’t get read if you don’t pay your application fees so make sure that you do that. Follow all these steps for a complete and successful college application.
