First, think about what your interests are then think about what kinds of jobs are related to these interests. This will help you determine what you dream internship may be. Start doing research on internships early—preferably by December. Create a list of deadlines or submission goals. Line up other necessary forms such as test scores and recommendations. Spend quality time on your essay and cover letters. Make sure to have backup options. Follow up regularly, but not obsessively. If you’re not accepted, ask for feedback. It can be really valuable in the future.
