i took it twice.  2160 (800 on CR, 780 on writing, 580 on math) and four months later 2370 (800 CR, 800 W, 770 math)

Answered by espoir - 7 months ago

if you're using a macintosh. while you're on adobe acrobat/reader, press command-Q. that way you quit the application.

I haven't used a pc in a long time but just basically closing all adobe windows should work.

If all else fails, just restart the computer

Answered by jj.kim - 1 year ago

No offence to this site becuase it is great but i am using collegeboard and loving it, not to say this isnt good but I already purchesed the SAT prep and it is very good.

Answered by nicholsonschoolboy - 1 year ago

they teach the students with a big blue book plus their own skills

Answered by MysteriousAnubis - 2 years ago

They use their "own" skills to teach you how to crack the SAT. However, they do use the collegeboard book (Big blue one) to give out examples and tests and such. Good luck!

Answered by Stoichiometry - 2 years ago

try taking out two choices and then guess.

Answered by GURUKID - 1 year ago

Well, by eliminating one, you have a 25% chance of getting the correct answer. If you don't even answer the question, you'll have a 0% chance of getting the right answer. When it's crunch time, I'd take any chance.

Answered by BIGAL - 2 years ago

(E)

Answered by Gabriel087 - 2 years ago

The answer would be (E) y is multiplied by 4. You get this by replacing with x and z with 2x and 2z. This also means x^3 would be replaced with (2x)^3, which equals to 8x^3. If you divide out the 2 from the 2z in the denominator and the 2 from the 8z^3 in the numerator, you'll get 5*4*x^3/z, which is four times more than the original value of y.

Answered by avaxpuff - 2 years ago

you can simplify the above expression to equal 15xz=y so when you double x or (2x) and double z or (2z) and put it in the equation you get  15*2x*2z=y---->60xz=y so now from 15xz it goes to 60xz or 4x more which is choice E

Answered by GURUKID - 1 year ago

I think the answer would be E. y is multiplied by 4

i thought the brightstorm one was easier? i think im just odd.

Answered by mimo005 - 2 years ago

i havent taken it myself but id expect it to be as similar or a little bit harder than the real thing to help you get a better idea of what to expect

Answered by Car...los... - 2 years ago

If you are reading the important parts then you should be able to answer the questions right.  Just practice

Answered by Eaman001 - 2 years ago

Well I haven't watched the video; but what I do is read  subtitles. That usually gives me a general idea also if you don't know a question it's usually best to go back to the text. Oh and I wouldn't skip any passages completely, I'd skim, but I haven't take SAT yet so...
I hope I helped you, if not forgive me.

Answered by Reasonz - 2 years ago
