how does a star die and become a black hole?

well i STRONGLY belive (know) that after the star has consume all its H atoms in nuclear fusion it causes instablility in the star, then the enormous gravity implodes into the center of the star this is such a big gravitational pull that it destroys the fabric of  time and space which is "BLACK HOLE" :)
