Thomas -Sketch this out on paper ... it forms a rectangle with sides of 240 and 180. The distance from the starting point is simply the the length of the diagonal of this rectangle.Use Pythagorean theorem where one leg is 240 and the other is 180 to solve for the hypotenuse or the diagonal of this rectangle.Hope that helps
