isosceles triangel question: 3x + 10degree in at 1 angle then the opposite angle is 5x - 10 degree. Can you show how to get the answer?

If these angles are at the base of the triangle, i.e. each is touching only one of the congruent sides, then you just set these equations equal to each other. 3x+10 = 5x-10 --> 20 = 2x --> 10 = x. If one of the angles is at the apex of the triangle, then we would say 180 = 2a+b, where a is the equation of the base angle and b is the equation of the apex angle.
