yes because two sides are parallel to the other two sides and theyre both equali think im thinking of a parallelogram thoughidk if a trapezoid is because only one of the sides are parallel

no. the definition of a rectangle is a quadrilateral with 2 sets of opposite sides congruent and parallel and 4 right angles. a trapezoid has only one set of sides that are congruent (those on the side) and only one set that are parallel (those on the top and bottom). there are also no right angles in a trapezoid. therefore, a rectangle cannot be a trapezoid.

I'm sorry. i failed to mention that i was talking about isosceles trapezoids in my response. trapezoids can be like rectangles in that the top and bottom are always parallel, the 2 sides do not have to be congruent (they can be and if they are it turns into an isosceles trapezoid)  but they cannot be parallel.

No. A trapezoid must have two parallel sides and two non-parallel sides. A rectangle must have two sets of two parallel sides and all angles of 90o(degree). The two terms are mutually exclusive.

No, a trapezoid has to have 2 parallel sides, while a rectangle is 2 sides and 1 hypotenuse.

no, rectangles are never the same. rectangles have two pairs of parrallel sides. trapezoids have only one pair.
