16 to one fourth is just square root 4 16, which is 2, since 2^4 =16.16 to one half is just square root 16.16 to one third is cube root 16.Hope that helped you :)

fourth root of 16; basically when it is 16^1/4 or any number to a fractional power first you raise it by the numerator and then you take its root using the denomnator so you solve by doing 16^1=16 then 4th root of 16 =2
