I don't think it matters what's going on in YOUR mind, it matters what science has so far decided....and as for your question, it seems like you're linking it with religion or something. All I know is that genes are used to either diagnose genetic diseases, make clones of yourself using the genes, make clones of animals, revive extinct animals, or make children using them.
