Cloning exists in this world, as of now. It's expensive, but you CAN make a clone of yourself using your genes. Not sure if you can do it once you're dead, though.

Your combination of genes dies with you when you die. Buuuut, if you have kids, then each of your kids has their own set of genes, 50% of which came from you, so in that sense, your genes "live on" in your kids, and then your grandkids. Also, since your siblings share at least 50% of your genes, then their kids have about 25% of your genes, so your nieces/nephews also carry on your genes, etc.
