With this equation: y=3sin (3x-π) I have learned that A=3; T=2π/3; phase shift=π/3 to the right
Yet, these videos show the shift is to the left.
Which is correct? Is there something I’m missing here
i think both are correct. although it changes from place to place, i men, from teacher to teacher. it's all about conventions. if you consider it to the right you may do the calculations in a certain way, and if you consider it to the left you may do the calculations in other way...
that's what i think it is...
