3 is the slope for the first equation. The slope is always the number infront of the x. and the y intercept is where the line crosses the y axis so the answer would be (0,-2)
the 2nd equation would have a slope of 1/2 because that is the number infront of the x. and the y intercept would be (0,-2) some teachers just say -2
and the third question would have a slope of 1/3. and a yintercept of (0,3). It meets the y axis at that point.
the number at the end of the equation, the + or - is usually the y intercept. This will almost always be the case until your in a higher math, where its alittle more complex, but for now the y intercept is always the number at the end without a variable. For example if you have y=x, then the y intercept would be (0,0) because there is no number at the end. If it is y=5x+48, then the y interecept would be (0,48)
Hope this helps =)
