In my town, we take geometry in the 9th grade. But i don't think it matters what grade you're in as long as you have taken algebra 1.

normally you take it in 10th gradeunless you take algebra in 8th, then you could take it 9thyou're smart lol

it depends on the school. my school takes geometry in 10th grade. my old school took it in 9th grade. either one is normal. if you take geometry in 7th grade then you're pretty advanced!

New Jersey high schools start Geometry at 9th or 10th grade, depending on the student's aptitude for mathematics.Though, being in Geometry in 7th grade doesn't necessarily mean you're smart. Instead, motivated would be a better term.
