im assuming your equation is y = -3/4x the x intercept is the place where the line crosses the x intercept on the graph, or where y is zero. so make y equals to 0, then solve 0 = -3/4x 0 = x the x intercept is 0

I assume the y intercept is 0 y=-3/4x To find the x intercept, y=0 so xis also=0
