Let  Tiberius time is xhr. He drives 72 miles. So his rate is 72/x mi/hr Claudius walks 32 miles and her time is x+2. So her rate is 32/(x+2) Rate of tiberius is 3 times of Claudius. So the equation is 72/x=3*32/(x+2) simplifying , 3/x=4/(x+2) Solving for x=6 The rate of Claudius is 32/8=4mi/hr The rate of T=72/6=12mi/hr
