Simple, always remember that:negative * negative = positivepositive * negative = negativepositive * positive = positiveso(+3) + (-1)(-2) = +3 + (+(1*2)) = 3+2 = (+3)+(+2)

2 negatives make a positive so -(-2) will turn into 2 and 3x2=6 and on the other side of the equation you also have 3x2.  Just always remember that 2 negatives make a positive!!!!!!
