Anika -This is a ratio problem. If 6 players are walked during 3 innings, then 2 players are walked every inning, agree? (2 walks x 3 innings = 6 walks).So now that you know that there are 2 walks for every inning, how many walks are in 5 innings?  You should be able to figure it out from here

To solve this question, you must see the porportion of number of innings to the number of players walked. Since this the number of innings is directly porportional to the number of people he walked, we can easily make the ration shown below:6 players walked/ 3 innings = x players walked/5 inningsSimplifying this porportion, we get:5*6=3*x30=3*xx=10This shows that Maury is likely to walk 10 people in 5 innings, according to theoretical probabilty.
