I have a project on De Broglie Matter Waves, and I can't really think of any topics to talk about in the 20 min powerpoint. All it says are planck's constant and electron diffraction.
Compare the DeBroglie wavelength of a 12 inch battle ship shell traveling at 4 miles per minute to the DeBroglie wavelength of an electron traveling at 40% of the speed of light. The shell's wave length is very small so its highly penetrating to matter.
