all you do when multiplying a decimal by a positive multiple of 10 is move the decimal over to the right according to how many 0's there are. so if there is 1 zero, the answer would be 20.8 (which is the answer to this problem.) two 0's would mean that the  decimal moves over 2 spaces to the right. so if the number was 100 rather than 10, then the answer would be 208. but for this particular problem, the answer is 20.8

when you multiply by a power of 10 just move the decimal place to the right. the number of places it moves is based off how many zeros are in the power of 10. since there is 1 zero move the decimal place over 1 to the right and get 20.8
