No. This is not true and it cannot happen. I don't mean to sound like a preacher or anything, but I believe that God created everything from planets to earthworms. This is the definition of evolution: the belief that the universe constructed itself our of self-existing matter and that it continues to organize itself into more complex parts as time goes by. And that sounds ridiculous! Sorry, I think I went overboard...
