Resource partitioning is a phenomenon that naturally occurs in the world that basically gives each species a unique "job" in its habitat. There are different types of resource partitioning:- spatial - temporal- morphologicalAll these help distribute resources so that organisms are not all crowded to one source. Morphological partitioning in particular is a phenomenon where the species evolve so that they are able to use different resources. For example, long beaks to get things in deeper, narrower holes; smaller beaks to pick up smaller seeds, etc.So in other words, resource partitioning is the process of dividing up different ecological niche to different species.
