How do you find the equation of a line using slope and y-intercept?

Y = mX + b m is the slope of the line and b is the y axis intercept where x=0.  The slope is (y2-y1) / (x2-x1).  It does not matter which point you call point 1.  Just don't change your numbering of the two points during the problem.
