butterfly stitches are strips that the put on one side of the cut then pull it over to the other side of the cut so the skin is over lapping each other

but i might be getting real stitches today...

nope but I have gotten butterfly staples.  I did a back flip into  a pool for the millionth time and busted my head open at the beginning of someone's bday party XD
