Are the following lines parallel, perpendicular, or neither? L1 through (–4, –7) and (1, 3) L2 through (2, 6) and (4, 10)
could someone explaint this to me.
Robbie -The slope of a line will tell you if it is parallel (the slopes will be equal), perpendicular (the slopes will be negative reciprocals) or the slopes could be neither parallel or perpendicular. So, just find the slope for each line using the formula for slope:(y1-y2)/(x1-x2).Hope this helps!
