Well, for your first question, you will have to look at the 7th row, since your power there is 6 (you always go for the row that comes after the number of your exponent. Follow the same pattern he uses, then when you find your terms, make sure that your x starts off with the power of six, and it decreases as you go on. the opposite happens for x. you start of with x^0 so that the sum is 6. then in the end, because it increases as you go, you will get x^6. -The same applies to your second question. :)
