This is a vertical line, where 'x' is equal to -8 and never changes. Slope is defined as the change in y over the change in x. Hence, if x never changes...(-8 - -8) = 0

Sorry, I meant to say the vertical line x = -8 that runs through the point (-8, 4).  Sorry about that.
