Your experimentally found molar mass is the mass of the actual compound with the correct subscripts. The empirical formula is reduced to lowest terms so it may not be the actual compound formula. If it was the same then your empircal formula is the actual compound formula. Dividing your experimental molar mass value by the empirical formula mass will give you a whole number that you can use to multiply every subscript in your empirical formula and thus find the actual formula.
